Narayan Dutta memorial All Assam Debate 2021 

The 5^th Narayan Dutta  memorial all Assam debate competition was held in Furkating College on 22^nd January 2021.Most of the premier institution of the state including Guwahati university, Cotton University and Tezpur university participated in the competition. Furkating College team won third Best team award in the event.

67^th All Assam inter-district & Open Badminton, 2020-21

         Assam, Badminton Association conducted 67^th All Assam Badminton from 6^th February to 14^th February 2021 at Sarusagai, Guwahati.  Subhankar Barbaruah was a part of double Team in the tournament and got the opportunity to represent the State in next National championship.

Theatre Workshop organised by National School of Drama at Kaziranga University from 30^th January to 3^rd February 2020.

National School of drama organised a five days theatre workshop with  kind collaboration with Kaziranga University of Assam. A four members team (Monuj Hazarika,Rahul Bora,Soyanika Dutta,Debasish Sailia) participated in the workshop. The team got best team award in the competition that was conducted at the end of the workshop.

Inter- College Weight Lifting (M/W), Power lifting (M/W) and Best Physique Tournament 2019-20.

The event was organised by NL City College Dibrugarh from 3^rd to 4^th February 2020. A team of seven member participated in the the event under the in-charge of Sri Sidhartha Saikia which won 3 Golds (Champak Sonowal, Dimpal Gogoi and Rimjim Sailia)

Inter College Kick –boxing 2019-2020 (7^th AND 8^TH OF FEB 2020)

The 2^nd Dibrugarh University Inter-College Kick Boxing Competition was held in Furkating College on 7^th and 8^th February, 2020. Furkating College becomes the first among the affiliated college of Dibrugarh university to host this grand event.

The inaugural ceremony was attended by a host of dignitaries from different places of the state besides official from Dibrugarh University and guest from various parts of Golaghat District. The event began with hosting of the flags of dibrugarh University. Furkating college and of the other participating collage by MR. SUNIT Kr THAPA, Observer from Dibrugarh University, Dr. APURBA SAIKIA, Principle Furkating College cum- president, Organizing Committee and participations/officials from other college respectively Dr. DINESH GOGOI, president, All Assam Kick Boxing Association inaugurated the competition while Mr. BISWAJIT KAKOTI, Secretary of the Association and Mr. BIPUL CHUTIA, the official from Dibrugarh University also spoke on the occasion, the inaugural session was anchored by Mr. SIMANTA PODDAR, Vice Principal, Furkating college-cum-Acting President, Organizing committee.

The event was successfully concluded with the participation of 33 participants in different weight categories (both boys and girls) from a good number of colleges under Dibrugarh University. First time Furkating College participated in the kick Boxing Sport and got Seven Medals including Gold by Miss Chayanika Saikia.

Inter- College Wushu 2019-2020

The event was organised by NL City College Dibrugarh in 10^th February 2020. A team of five member participated in the the event under the in-charge of Sri Sidhartha Saikia which won 2 Gold (Thaneswar Turi and Zakir Ali.

Inter- College Weight Lifting (M/W), Power lifting (M/W) and Best Physique Tournament 2018-19

The event was organized at Duliajan College, Duliajan on 24th and 25th October 2018. Total 25 Colleges Participated

Inter- College Youth Festival: 2018-19

The Inter College Youth Festival was organized at Sarupather College w.e.f. 21st to 24th January 2019. Total 65 Colleges were participated in the event. Miss Pratyashi Kalita, (Sibsagar College) declared as the Best Singer and Sibsagarh College became the Best Team.

An eight member’s team participated in the event under the Professor in Charge Mr. Tarun Saikia. Sri Rajarshe Madhab Phukan received Best Actor Award in Drama competition.

Inter- College Athletic Meet: 2018-19   

The Inter College Athletic Meet was organized at Moridhal College w.e.f. 3rd to 5th January 2019.   A nine member college team participated in the event. Mr.Bondon Sharma was the Professor in Charge. The team won three Gold by Lupamoni  Gogoi in Discus Throw and Bornali Saikia in Triple Jump.

1st Inter College Wushu

The event was organized at Dibrugarh University Campus on 9th & 10th   January 2019. Total: 19 teams  were participated in the event.    A Four member team participated under the Mamager & Chif Miss Sima Mura.  All member returned with medal.

Inter- College Weight Lifting (M/W), Power lifting (M/W) and Best Physique Tournament 2017-18.

The event was organized at Sarupathar College, Golaghat on 11th and 12th December 2017. Total 27 Colleges Participated.  A Eight members team under the professor in charge Mr. Jatin Mech and Manager Mr. Ripunjoy Bora participated  which won Seven Medals including three Golds By Binuds  Saikia and  Humen Bora.

Inter- College Athletic Meet: 2017-18

The Inter College Athletic Meet was organized at JDSG College w.e.f. 28th to 30th January 2018.   A ten member college team participated in the event. Mr. Jatin Mech was the Professor in Charge. The team won three Gold by Prancy Hazarika(Shot-put), Lupamoni Gogoi(Discus Throw0 and Bornali Saikia(Triple Jump).

Inter- College Athletic Meet: 2016-17

The Inter- College Athletic meet of D.U. (2016-2017) was organized at Moridhal College from 05/12/16 to 07

/12/2016.  A ten member’s team of Furkting College Participated in the event under the guidance of Professor- in- charge Mr.Ripunjoy Bora. Five Students won Medals/positions.

Inter- college yoga tournament

The Inter College Yoga (M/W) Tournament 2016-17 was organized at to HPB Girls’ College, and scheduled to be held on 23rd and 24th January 2017. Total 9 colleges were participated in the event.  A team was participated under the Professor- in Chief Mrs. Indira Gogoi. The Women team won the third Best Team.
