Department Of Computer

The Department of Computer was started in July, 2020. It was started with the object of promoting specialized knowledge in the field of Computer Science and Computer Application. In view of the world wide shortage of skilled manpower in the field of Information Technology, the Department strives to channelize talented youth of the region to this challenging and knowledge intensive field by imparting quality technical knowledge and skills in the field.The programmes started under this department were PGDCA(Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application),Self Financing Course.

 To be a dedicated centre of learning  in computer science  for creating competent professionals capable of taking leading roles in industry, academia and application.

Mission:

1. To create a lively environment for the students and faculty for personal and professional growth with high ethical standards.

2. To continuously upgrade the curriculum and laboratory facilities to train the students in latest technology for better employability.

PROGRAMME OUTCOME:

1. Design and develop computer applications using standard software practices to solve real world problems.

2. Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, and modern computer and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex computer activities with an understanding of the limitations.
3. Design solutions for complex computer problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.
