The Department  of Physics at the Furkating College(Autonomus),Golaghat was founded in 2023.The department  has a group of highly active and vibrant faculty members Committed to deliver high quality research starndards in pure and applied area of Physics and also trains students to become comptent and motivated  physicists.The department has state of the art of Machanics,Optics,Electronics,Nano Science,Mathematical Physics,Laser etc.The department currently offers higher secondary, four year undergraduate  programme.Such programmes has been assisted by sophisticated higher secondary and B.Sc level  laboratories.
